In the case of our socks, the bamboo fibre is 100% viscose derived from bamboo, but the socks themselves contain a small percentage of elastane and nylon. Bamboo fibre boasts advantages of breathability and coolness. They are sweat-wicking, keeping your feet nice and fresh, and they are also thermo-regulating so keep your feet warm in winter and cool in summer.  

We have been wearing our bamboo socks for over 3 years now, and find that they last really well. They retain their softness after many washes and take a longer time to wear through compared to other socks. 

We can ship all around the world, Although, we only have a UK warehouse at the moment so world wide orders can take a tad longer. 

We aim to dispatch orders same business day if orders are received before 2pm and manage this 99% of the time. When orders are received outside of a business day (public holiday or weekends), they will be sent the next business day. 

🐾 Shipping time

This refers to the time it takes for items to be shipped to the customer after the delivery has been dispatched. Delivery will take up to 3 working days within the UK. Royal Mail Second Class deliveries take 2-3 business days to arrive. Royal Mail First Class deliveries arrive in 1-2 business days. Fedex deliveries arrive the next working day.

We am aim to dispatch these deliveries ASAP, but we are constrained to how long it will take for a parcel to be shipped overseas, so these shipping times will vary.

🐾 If a product gets damaged or was faulty upon a delivery - we offer 100% refund or exchange.

🐾 We offer free UK returns if you are not completely satisfied with your purchase.

🐾 Timing: we have a 28-days Return & Exchange Policy, since the day item was received.

🐾 To be eligible for a return, goods must be unopened, unused, undamaged and accompanied by proof of purchase.

🐾 For returns, please email hello@barekind.co.uk with the subject 'Returns' and include your order number, name and the reason for the return. 

🐾 Please provide evidence of the damaged item if you want a replacement delivered. 

🐾 We will provide you with instructions on where to send returned goods. We strongly recommended getting proof of postage when returning goods to avoid "lost packages" situations.

🐾 When the returned item is received and inspected, the customer receives a confirmation email, notifying about the status of the refund.

🐾 If the refund is approved, then it will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to the customer's credit card or original payment method shortly after.

The socks are made in a collection of carefully chosen factories across Turkey, China and India. These factories have all be checked by us for audits and certifications such as SEDEX and BSCI which confirm working conditions are both legal and safe.

The dyed fibres have a Standard 100 OEKO-TEX certificate with appendix 6 (this means the fabric has been certified free from harmful substances to human ecology and safe for children and babies).

The bamboo itself is sourced from a factory in China where it is certified FSC sustainably grown. This factory is Level 3 out of 3 on the STeP OEKO-TEX certificate displaying ‘Ideal implementation in the sense of Best Practice examples’ and they also hold the OEKO-TEX 100 standard for non-toxic dyes in the finished product.

Choosing our suppliers is a very important part of our process as an ethical business, we ensure we know who we are working with and the standards they are held to account for. Every supplier goes through our own internal sourcing process to gather the relevant documentation to back up their claims.
